Open Source Notices

1. Our commitment to open source

Saksham and the Frae platform are built on open-source software. We are committed to meeting all obligations under the licences of the open-source components we use, and we are grateful to the communities that build and maintain these tools.

2. Primary LGPL component — Odoo Community Edition

The core of the Saksham platform is built upon Odoo Community Edition, which is licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL) v3.0. Details are as follows:

Frae's additions, customisations, and proprietary modules built on top of Odoo Community Edition are the exclusive intellectual property of Fraetech Private Limited and are not licensed under the LGPL. Only the unmodified and modified versions of Odoo Community Edition itself are subject to LGPL obligations.

3. How to request source code

In accordance with our obligations under the LGPL v3.0, the source code for Odoo Community Edition components used in Saksham is available on request. To request source code, please email [email protected] with the subject line "LGPL source request", specifying the version of Saksham you are using. We will respond within 30 days of receiving your request.

4. Website toolchain — other open-source licences

The frae.ai marketing website is built with the following open-source tools:

  • Astro — MIT licence
  • Tailwind CSS — MIT licence
